Foxhound Locksmith is located just off of i75 near the Georgia / Tennessee border. Both states are imposing Shelter-In-Place rules. You can view Georgia's here. Tennessee's Safer-At-Home rules can be found here. By both states' outlines and definitions, locksmiths are considered essential. While we will have intermittent shutdowns for short disinfection periods, we will remain open 24/7 to serve you.


Our Service Area is Expanding & Our Flat Rates Are NOT Changing!


It has come to our attention that some of our competitors are understandably closing during this time for their own personal safety. In some more remote cities, that can leave many of you vulnerable in an emergency situation. As such, we are EXPANDING our service area to include cities as far north as Cleveland, TN and as far south as Calhoun, GA. Unfortunately, we have also been made aware that some others are price gouging as a form of "hazard pay" for assisting you during this time. We want to make clear that our flat rate pricing model is not changing, and we continue to offer a Best Price Guarantee during this unprecedented time to ensure you always get the best rates possible for any and all of the services we provide you.


Controlling The Spread of Coronavirus - Our New Protocols


We understand that this is a very stressful and confusing time. We urge all of our clients to help control the spread of Covid-19 by following the guidelines as presented by the CDC here. If you are concerned about how we are helping to control the spread of Covid-19 and your safety, here is a comprehensive list of the changes we have made to our process thus far. We also want you to NEVER be shy about letting us know if you have special requests or needs for protocol changes. We want every client to feel safe and comfortable while service is being provided.


  • When requesting our services, you may be asked if you are currently sick, and to describe any symptoms you may be experiencing.

  • Because those with Coronavirus can be asymptomatic for up to two weeks, we assume all clients are infected by default. We do this for your safety, as we serve children and the elderly alike. We maintain AT LEAST 6 feet of distance from everyone on site and wear masks when available. We reserve the right to immediately refuse service to anyone who fails to comply with the 6 foot rule.

  • A new pair of gloves is used for every client we serve, and hands are sanitized after every customer encounter.

  • We do NOT use any public restrooms at any time. We return to base when a restroom is needed.

  • All tools, supplies and devices that are used while providing you service are disinfected before your service call and after your service is completed using 91% isopropyl alcohol and disinfectant wipes.

  • If you are given a new set of keys, they are provided wrapped inside of a disinfectant wipe.

  • Due to a shortage of masks, if your service call requires indoor passage, you may be asked to exit the room we are servicing. We may wait 15 minutes before entering a room, unless it is a time sensitive emergency. This is to ensure all potential droplets have settled to the ground before entering.

  • Whenever possible, we ask that customers pay with a credit or debit card. If you must pay in cash, you will be asked to insert the cash in a pouch to avoid contact. We are currently capable of providing you with change. The cash we hand you comes from bills we had in storage prior to the outbreak. Any cash received is kept in storage for a full week's time before we bring it back into circulation.

  • The interior of our service vehicle is contaminant free. We will not re-enter the service vehicle until everything used on site has been disinfected.

  • Intermittent closures may occur if a potentially high risk client was served for proper disinfection. Intermittent closures may also occur because we are a family business with a child at home. Sometimes my daughter will need her daddy, and mommy will need some help.
